Coming from house hunting in the Bay Area during Spring 2022, my husband and I were used to bloodthirsty realtors who saw us as another commission. Amanda was truly the crux of why my husband and I could be homeowners in such a quick and easy fashion. It took us 8 days, 3 offers, and about 30 home viewings to not only find the one but have the one accept our offer. Of course, what you put in is what you get out, especially for houses. We worked with Amanda to view a broad range of homes in one day, then started narrowing in on the more “ideal” home for us. We were texting back and forth listings links and thoughts on neighborhoods; we talked about strategy and how to make a competitive offer without waiving any contingencies. Amanda was stellar. She was incredibly knowledgeable, connected, and honestly understood us as clients. We could ask any question without fear of being judged, which meant we got to learn a lot more about the housing market, home integrity, and the purchase process than we thought we would. Once we were under contract, Amanda absolutely went to bat for us and got us credit back; she also connected us to the mortgage lender and home insurance we ended up using. Now that we’re homeowners, I can say that our experience working with Amanda truly made everything much smoother than I would have expected. There were no hiccups — her communication was exceptional and her conduct was professional yet heartfelt. The day we closed, she brought balloons and champagne and that amazing energy that made working with her so easy. The house we bought was actually under our budget and she was able to negotiate some seller credits for us despite the seller being someone who was very difficult to work with. If you need any proof that she's extremely good at her job, she - helped us secure our ideal home in only under 2 weeks. Toured with us for over 30 houses (a few times she even toured for us and FaceTime'd us in when we were abroad for work). Got both of our only offers accepted, one of which was accepted on the same day that we sent it. I was previously working with another agent who did not seem to understand my needs and timeline, but after my first showing with Amanda it was very apparent what a difference a great agent can make. She was very patient in explaining all of the complexities of home purchase and always quick to respond to any questions that I had. She even referred me to a loan officer that would provide a stronger offer as well as contractors that she's worked with so that we can work on our home after purchase. During the offering stage, she always made it a point that she would treat my money like her own and never offer more than we absolutely needed.
